Recently I have done several collaborations with a wonderful makeup artist/hair stylist from Milton-“Arisel Beauty”. These sessions are so much fun, as they allow us to get really creative with hair, makeup, posing, clothing, etc! Here are a few shots of Kristin!

Time to update your headshots? I would love to work with you! Your headshot sessions can be indoors with studio and natural lighting, or outdoors, in a natural setting. Corporate headshot sessions require just 30 minutes ($175, including your favourite 5 digital files), and you are welcome to do a change of top to mix things up a bit! If you wish to book a full hour to provide for more poses/clothing changes, etc, my rate is $275 and includes your favourite 10 images.

Child model and actor headshots| Milton Oakville Mississauga
Are you interested in getting your child into modelling or acting, but not sure where to begin? Well, first of all, they will require some headshots! You will also have to check out different agencies around the GTA, to see which one is the best fit for you, make an appointment and then proceed with the application. I have worked with clients who have been signed with Sherrida, Carolyn’s Kids, Kamera Talent, Minor Details among others.
During my headshot sessions, I will work with your child to develop a variety of headshots/portraits with different looks; by varying the backgrounds, clothing, as well as facial expressions and poses. It’s important to capture some natural looks, to try to bring out their personality, rather than having fake, “cheesy” smiles!
I have two packages for headshots: the basic package is $175 +hst and includes a 30 minute session as well as your favourite 5 digital files. The portrait package is $275 +hst and includes a 60 minute session and your favourite 10 digital files. The difference is really that the second session would allow you more time for creating different looks for your portfolio. I work with professional equipment (of course!), and a combination of natural and studio lighting in order to create the best looks for your child.

Many of my corporate clients come to me for headshots, having put off the process for a long time, and quite often dreading the idea of having headshots taken. Well, after the sessions, they frequently let me know that it was a fun, easy going and pretty painless process! When this little girl came into my studio for her actor headshots, I knew it would be so much fun to work with her! She was completely comfortable (and super cute) in front of the camera…and it’s no wonder, given her experience in acting and having two parents in the film industry! Can’t wait to see her work one day!

Loved working with this talented (and beautiful) girl! We did a variety of looks for her, using different backgrounds, both studio and natural window lighting, and of course several changes of clothing! The whole process took under an hour and she had her final edited shots within a few days! Earlier this year I was asked by Jameel (senior stylist and owner of Jameel De Stefano Salon & Spa in Milton) if I would be interested in photographing their hair models, prior to their annual White Party and fashion show, which I gladly accepted! It was a fantastic (and very busy) day, with a team of 5 stylists and makeup artists preparing 16 awesome hair models for the event!

Fall Family Sessions| Milton Oakville Burlington Mississauga
It’s hard to believe September is already here…evenings are starting to get cooler, it’s back to school in just a few short days, and before you know it the leaves are going to start changing!
I am going to be offering a reduced family rate for Fall sessions (continued from late summer…). Packages will be $200 for a 30 minute session, and will include your favourite 10 digital files as well as three beautiful 8×10 prints. Possible locations will include Kelso Conservation Park, Crawford Lake, Lowville Park as well as Mill Pond in Milton. Sessions will be available both evenings and weekends. (This package can also be used for engagement photography, pets or personal portraiture.)

Actor Headshots| Milton Burlington Oakville Mississauga Toronto
There are some people who are just naturals in front of the camera, and this young actor was certainly that! From the very first shot, he was relaxed and responded very well to my prompts! The whole session took about 30 minutes, and in that time we went through 4 different shirt changes, several changes of location/background, as well as many different poses. This is important, especially for a model/actor, since the agencies are going to want to see a variety of photos. Here are a few of the final results! (Did I mention how much I enjoyed working with him?!)
