Fall Family Sessions| Milton Oakville Burlington Mississauga

It’s hard to believe September is already here…evenings are starting to get cooler, it’s back to school in just a few short days, and before you know it the leaves are going to start changing!

I am going to be offering a reduced family rate for Fall sessions (continued from late summer…). Packages will be $200 for a 30 minute session, and will include your favourite 10 digital files as well as three beautiful 8×10 prints. Possible locations will include Kelso Conservation Park, Crawford Lake, Lowville Park as well as Mill Pond in Milton. Sessions will be available both evenings and weekends. (This package can also be used for engagement photography, pets or personal portraiture.)

It has been almost six months since this incredible wedding took place at the beautiful Holcim Waterfront Estate in Mississauga, Ontario. I was so honoured to have been asked to photograph Kate and Brendan’s wedding day, and really I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to work with. Everything was perfect…gorgeous weather, breathtaking location, beautiful dresses for the ladies and custom made suits for the men, delicious food and just the most wonderful groomsmen, bridesmaids, family members and guests who kept us entertained and feeling welcomed during the entire day!

It was a cold day in October when I had the chance to finally meet and photograph this amazing (and very beautiful!) couple from Toronto. We had been in communication for several weeks about their upcoming wedding in July 2015, and had decided to do a Fall engagement session at the picturesque Mountsberg Conservation Park in Halton Region. I always highly recommend doing an engagement session…it gives me a chance to get to know you as a couple, to get you comfortable with having your photos taken together before the big day, and it provides so many wonderful memories of this special time… Anyway, these guys were awesome…and even brought along their much loved pooch to be part of the photo shoot! Wedding bells are going to be ringing in just a few more weeks…and this time for a very special person. My baby sister. My “little trout”. All grown up. Just can’t believe it! She is marrying a fantastic guy who has quickly become a close member of our family…and that’s not an easy thing to do, especially when there are 4 older siblings involved that had to put him through the wringer! But he has passed all the tests, and he has proven to be nothing but a kind soul, a pure gentleman, and a perfect partner for our Emma. I am so excited to see Emma walk down the aisle in her gorgeous dress, and to start their lives together as newly weds.

It is always such an honour and pleasure for me to be given the opportunity to document important events in a person’s life. When this amazing couple contacted me to photograph their wedding, I was thrilled. I knew they would be incredible to work with, and I was right.

Included in their wedding package was an engagement session, which I think is worthwhile for every couple to do. An engagement session allows the photographer and clients to discuss details, to get to know each other better, as well as for the couple to feel more comfortable in front of the camera before their big day arrives.
