Earlier this year I was asked by Jameel (senior stylist and owner of Jameel De Stefano Salon & Spa in Milton) if I would be interested in photographing their hair models, prior to their annual White Party and fashion show, which I gladly accepted! It was a fantastic (and very busy) day, with a team of 5 stylists and makeup artists preparing 16 awesome hair models for the event!

Fall Family Sessions| Milton Oakville Burlington Mississauga

It’s hard to believe September is already here…evenings are starting to get cooler, it’s back to school in just a few short days, and before you know it the leaves are going to start changing!

I am going to be offering a reduced family rate for Fall sessions (continued from late summer…). Packages will be $200 for a 30 minute session, and will include your favourite 10 digital files as well as three beautiful 8×10 prints. Possible locations will include Kelso Conservation Park, Crawford Lake, Lowville Park as well as Mill Pond in Milton. Sessions will be available both evenings and weekends. (This package can also be used for engagement photography, pets or personal portraiture.)

Model and Actor Headshots | Milton Oakville Mississauga Toronto

Time to catch up on some of my posts! (If you have been following my website and wish to see what I have been up to, make sure you check out my Instagram page, which I update quite frequently!)

Lately I have been getting more and more requests for model and actor headshots in the GTA. I have worked with clients who have been in the field for quite some time, as well as those who are looking at getting started and who need some photos to develop their portfolio. When working with models and actors, I always recommend bringing several changes of clothing. This will enable us to get a variety of different looks, which is important for talent agencies. We also do a variety of styles, from studio shots (with strobe lights) as well as natural light, and sessions can take place either indoors or outdoors.

And now…introducing…

Reagan! Totally reminds me of Kirsten Dunst! She came to me several months ago for her portfolio photo shoot, prior to applying to a model and talent agency in Toronto. I was so happy to hear that she is now signed with Sherrida,! Check out her profile page here! I am certain she is going to have a lot of cool opportunities ahead of her!

Outdoor headshots-Milton Oakville Mississauga Burlington

After a long winter, the beautiful weather has finally arrived and with that comes outdoor headshot sessions in Halton Region! I recently had the opportunity to work with this wonderful couple, Ghada and Sean Davidson of Team Davidson (Remax). They wanted to have updated headshots (individual and team shots) for their social media, their website as well as their advertising needs. They were absolutely lovely to work with and I do highly recommend their services if you are looking for a home in Halton Region. Check out their website here!

Mikkelson Wedding | Milton Oakville Mississauga Burlington Toronto

It has been almost six months since this incredible wedding took place at the beautiful Holcim Waterfront Estate in Mississauga, Ontario. I was so honoured to have been asked to photograph Kate and Brendan’s wedding day, and really I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to work with. Everything was perfect…gorgeous weather, breathtaking location, beautiful dresses for the ladies and custom made suits for the men, delicious food and just the most wonderful groomsmen, bridesmaids, family members and guests who kept us entertained and feeling welcomed during the entire day!

Interesting in getting into modelling or acting? I would love to work with you to create a portfolio which can be used to apply to different agencies across the GTA. Sessions can take place indoors (using both studio and natural lighting), or outdoors when the weather is warm!

Prior to your session, I will provide you with some recommendations in order to get the most out of our session (including makeup, hair, nails, clothing suggestions, etc…) Makeup services can be arranged on site for a fee of $25.00 per person.

I also provide professional printing services to ensure your prints are of the highest quality! Prints can be provided to you within 24 hours. Please enquire for print prices!

Engagement and wedding photography| Milton Burlington Oakville Mississauga Toronto

It was a cold day in October when I had the chance to finally meet and photograph this amazing (and very beautiful!) couple from Toronto. We had been in communication for several weeks about their upcoming wedding in July 2015, and had decided to do a Fall engagement session at the picturesque Mountsberg Conservation Park in Halton Region. I always highly recommend doing an engagement session…it gives me a chance to get to know you as a couple, to get you comfortable with having your photos taken together before the big day, and it provides so many wonderful memories of this special time… Anyway, these guys were awesome…and even brought along their much loved pooch to be part of the photo shoot! Here are some of the photos!

Professional Headshots| Milton Oakville Burlington Toronto

Periodically, I like to feature some of my headshot sessions on my blog, as I think it’s important to see the results you can get when you spend 30-60 minutes with a photographer who is looking out for just one person at a time…YOU!

This (gorgeous) woman, Dr. Andrea Tricco, booked a headshot session with me this summer because she required several different shots of herself…for LinkedIn, for St. Michael’s Hospital where she works as a scientist, and for U of T where she is an associate prof. Not only that…but her work is also frequently published (often along with a headshot) in places such as the Canadian Medical Association Journal, CBC News, and the Toronto Star. So…as you can understand she wanted to have some nice head shots with a little variety!

Interior Design Photography| Toronto Milton Oakville Mississauga

Let me start off this post by saying that Shannon Soro of Shannon Soro Interior Design (formerly Moving Designs) is an interior designer extraordinaire! I got to spend the entire day with her a few weeks ago, going from one home to another and getting to photograph her incredible designs. What impressed me the most was how unique each home was…custom designed with each of her clients in mind. Nothing was duplicated. Everything was perfect and absolutely refreshing, with the most meticulous attention to detail I have ever seen. It was the type of work that you would see in upscale interior design magazines, and at the same time they were places that you would absolutely want to call home.
