Over the past few years I have done a number of collaborations with dancers and gymnasts across the GTA, including this one with Mia, an incredible dancer with Dance Elite in Milton. These have been some of my favourite sessions, as it allows me to work together with my subjects to come up with fun and creative concepts in different locations across the GTA!

These dance sessions are now available for booking and would be an excellent opportunity for the dancer (or gymnast) in your family to get some beautiful dance portraits! Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Taylor! Brad and Danielle tied the knot during a beautiful ceremony held yesterday, August 26, 2017, in Mississauga, Ontario. They exchanged vows in the backyard of Brad’s grandparents…an absolutely lovely setting that was just perfect for the occasion! It was a gorgeous afternoon, and I loved witnessing the strong family bonds and the closest of friends who were all there to celebrate with the newly weds!

Brad and Danielle, thank you for asking me to document this special day for you!

Loved working with this talented (and beautiful) girl! We did a variety of looks for her, using different backgrounds, both studio and natural window lighting, and of course several changes of clothing! The whole process took under an hour and she had her final edited shots within a few days! Let me start off this post by saying that Shannon Soro of Shannon Soro Interior Design (formerly Moving Designs) is an interior designer extraordinaire! I got to spend the entire day with her a few weeks ago, going from one home to another and getting to photograph her incredible designs. What impressed me the most was how unique each home was…custom designed with each of her clients in mind. Nothing was duplicated. Everything was perfect and absolutely refreshing, with the most meticulous attention to detail I have ever seen. It was the type of work that you would see in upscale interior design magazines, and at the same time they were places that you would absolutely want to call home. Wedding bells are going to be ringing in just a few more weeks…and this time for a very special person. My baby sister. My “little trout”. All grown up. Just can’t believe it! She is marrying a fantastic guy who has quickly become a close member of our family…and that’s not an easy thing to do, especially when there are 4 older siblings involved that had to put him through the wringer! But he has passed all the tests, and he has proven to be nothing but a kind soul, a pure gentleman, and a perfect partner for our Emma. I am so excited to see Emma walk down the aisle in her gorgeous dress, and to start their lives together as newly weds.

Antonia Giroux Photography Weddings

It was a beautiful day in July that I got to spend with an amazing couple who had asked me to photograph their wedding. For wedding photography, you definitely want to make sure there is a connection between the clients and the photographer, because you will be spending a lot of time together… Well, that part was easy. Julia and Nathan are some of the most down to earth, caring people…and so fantastic to work with. The location was Halton Museum in Milton, Ontario. The ceremony was set to take place outside, and at the last minute it started to rain. Not a problem… Within 10 minutes everything was moved indoors for an intimate ceremony amongst close family and friends, and by the time it was over, the clouds had moved on and the sun was shining…a perfect beginning to an incredible evening and a lifetime of happiness.
